This painting had intensity
from the start
thoughts like a dark street lit motel
broken bottles in an alley
trash so high no one could get by
old cars strewn along the curbs like cigarette butts
this works cut like a jagged piece of glass
a rusty razor
to the soul of the paint
this maybe the tamer of the bunch
but I dig it

makes me feel something still

another good bitter eve of paint and knights standing around looking for their princess
reflecting against the red stop signs in the way of speed
